Orbs are believed to be ghosts in the form of balls of light. They are the most photographed anomalies caught on film by ghost hunters and by the unexpected. They range from transparent to a bright solid form. It is believed that ghosts take on the form of an Orb because it takes less energy than apparitions and other solid shapes and shadows. In the colder months of the year it may be easier for ghosts (energy) to take on shapes and masses as there is more static electricity in the atmosphere. October through February are great ghost hunting months. It is also believed that a ghost can draw on our energy when trying to manifest which can leave the hunter feeling weak, sick, dizzy or worse.
